Overview
The Solus 100 system is a versatile platform, including hardware, software, and disposables that uses a non-invasive and label-free process to measure conformational changes in proteins and is particularly useful for measuring conformational changes caused by interactions with small molecules. The Solus 100 system uses infrared (IR) absorption to enable label-free analysis of proteins in their native environment.

The Solus 100 system provides a functional, label free assay to measure interactions. See below for a list.

  • small molecules
  • peptides
  • proteins
  • lipids
  • DNA or RNA
  • carbohydrates.

Loading the Solus 100 system 24-sample silicon chip is fully automated by the software. A quick round of pinspotting transfers sample from the well-plate and applies a thin 100nL layer of sample to the chip surface at each corresponding reservoir. Following a quick calibration, a motor driven chip is placed under the camera and within minutes data is viewable.
